Are your masks medical grade?

No. Our masks are not medical grade or FDA approved. The UVShield Cool Face Mask is not intended as a replacement for medical grade Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This face cover should be used in concert with other CDC recommended best practices to stop the community spread of viruses, including washing hands, avoiding touching the face, and practicing social distancing. This product makes no claims of antimicrobial protection, antiviral protection, particulate filtration, or infection prevention or reduction. Face coverings should not be worn by children under the age of two, by anyone who has trouble breathing, or by anyone who is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
